Checking the refrigeration circuit for leaks

1. 

Check the floor area, valves and all
visible solder joints for traces of oil.

Note
Traces of oil indicate a leaking refrig-
erant circuit. Ask a refrigeration engi-
neer to check the heat pump.

2. 

Check the heat pump interior with a
refrigerant leak detector or leak
detection spray for refrigerant leaks.
