To access the
control screen:
1 .
Press and hold the Shift
key.
2. Then press F3.
You will typically perform the following steps, referring to the information in this chapter:
Select the unit (in
installations).
2. Select the monitor.

Select the display format.

Define joystick control. Then use the system console to perform any operation in this chapter.
Note: If you have more than one keypad/system console in your system, it is important to note that the system
console and
use simplex communication with each other. For example, one keypad
may have accessed the multiplexer’s menu system, and since there is no two-way communication, a
second keypad
may
try
to
perform normal operations with the multiplexer (operations outside the
multiplexer menu system). To ensure proper communication with the multiplexer with more than one
keypad/system console in your system, perform a camera selection before performing any other action.
Unit
If you are using one or more
or
multiplexers in your CCTV system, the
multi-output
device will be part of your installation site and a Unit soft key label will display on your system console.
To select an
or
from the system console (you must be in normal (non-programming) mode):
Enter the number of the unit.

Then press the Unit soft key.
