Preliminary Steps
Controlling Screen Brightness and Contrast
Perform the following steps to adjust screen brightness and contrast.
1 .
Press and hold the Shift
key and then press the
key to display the Screen Control screen.
2 .
Press and hold the up/down brightness and contrast soft keys to adjust the LCD.
3 .
Then press and hold the Shift key and press the
F3 or F4 key to exit.
Key Entry Options
You may customize your system console keys for “telephone” style or
style as follows:
1 .
From the Enter User ID screen (before entering the user ID), press the top right and left soft keys for
telephone style or the bottom right and left soft keys for calculator style. When you enter your user ID,
your key style selection will be active.

Remove the key caps and replace them in the appropriate location to reflect your choice.

Entering Exiting the Main Setup Screen
The Main Setup screen is the entry point for Alarm, Joystick, System, I/O Ports, Keypad and Macro
screens. To enter this screen, press and hold the Shift
key and then press the
key. To exit, press
and hold the Shift
and then press the
key to exit to the
or
Series Control screen. You
may also exit the System Category screen and enter another screen by using Shift
and the
appropriate function key.
