Joystick Keypad
The
Joystick Keypad is a trackball pointing device in an ergonomic “mouse” shape. It
provides pan, tilt, lens and cursor control (in
and
programming menus). Two sets of
identical lens control buttons customize the joystick keypad for right- or left-handed users. Set the switch
located on the bottom (arrows point to the right or left). Move the cable retaining clip to the appropriate
side, catching the cable underneath, routing it through the groove and securing it with the screw, which will
keep the cable on the desired side of the device during operation.
An optional trackball shaft is supplied in the accessory kit. Screw the threaded end of the shaft into the
trackball or use the trackball without the shaft. You must also connect the joystick keypad’s cable to the
system console’s “Joystick” D-shell connector and tighten the captive retaining screws.
For your convenience, the accessory kit includes a docking spring to attach the joystick keypad to the
system console. Attach the spring to either side of the system console using the provided screws. The
joystick keypad can be docked to the system console using any of the three slots located on the bottom of
the joystick keypad.
