This page displays class-oriented statistical information for the policy, which is specified by the interface and 
direction.

Diffserv Policy Performance Statistics Fields 

Field

Description

Interface 

The interface associated with the rest of the data in the row. The table displays all interfaces that have 
a DiffServ policy currently attached in a traffic flow direction. 

Direction 

The traffic flow direction to which the policy is applied:

• 

In 

The policy is applied to traffic as it enters the interface.

• 

Out 

The policy is applied to traffic as it exits the interface. 

Policy 

The name of the policy currently attached to the interface.

Status 

The operational status of the policy currently attached to the interface.

Class 

The DiffServ class currently defined for the attached policy. 

Packets Offered

The total number of packets offered to all class instances in this service policy before their defined 
DiffServ treatment is applied. This is the overall count per-interface, per-direction.

Packets Discarded

The total number of packets discarded for all class instances in this service policy for any reason due to 
DiffServ treatment. This is the overall count per-interface, per-direction.
