A SmartPass configured with the Wiegand interface does not have the output1 or
input1 circuits available. In Wiegand mode operation, output0 is not controlled by
predefined output mode.
Output1 is not available when the external check tag function is enabled.
Connect the remaining wires to the appropriate terminal blocks on the terminal strip
in the junction box. Table 5-2 lists the cable descriptions and functions for the
interface signals.
These wire pairs can be used or terminated as required by the specific application.
TransCore strongly recommends that you either terminate or shrink-wrap these wire
pairs. If you cut the wires, you may not be able to use them in the future for either
testing or for adding additional functions.
