Installing SmartPass®
Précaution
La source d'alimentation doit être débranchée du SmartPass avant que celui-ci ne
soit relié à la boîte de connexion.
Attenzione
L’alimentazione elettrica erogata a SmartPass deve essere disinserita prima che
questo venga collegato alla scatola di giunzione.
The power connection is fed through a liquid-tight electrical fitting with a 1.3-cm
pipe NPT male thread. This pipe must be acceptable for outdoor use. TransCore
recommends that the pipe be flexible.
To connect the power to the junction box
1. Slide the 1.3-cm pipe NPT female thread over the power cord from SmartPass,
and thread the pipe firmly onto the male fitting.
2. Slide the 1.3-cm conduit over the power cord and attach to the fitting placed in
Step 1.
Caution
Check the voltage from the junction box to ensure there are no electrical surges.
Electrical surges can damage SmartPass.

Die Spannung an der Anschlußdose daraufhin überprüfen, daß keine
Spannungsspitzen auftreten. Spannungsspitzen können SmartPass beschädigen.
Precaución
Para garantizar que no se produzcan sobretensiones, compruebe la tensión desde
la caja de conexión. Las sobretensiones pueden dañar el SmartPass.
