Replace ECU. *

Voltage: Approx. 1.0V for both conditions

Check for spark.

Measure voltage between terminal IGF of ECU con-
nector and body ground, both with ignition switch
ON but engine not cranking, and with engine crank-
ing.

Replace ignitor.

Voltage: 5V

Measure voltage between terminal IGF of ignitor
connector and body ground.

Check voltage between terminal IGF of ECU connector and
body ground.

(1) Disconnect ignitor connector.
(2) Turn ignition switch ON.

Repair or replace harness or connector.

Go to step [ 5 ].

Check voltage between terminal IGF of ignitor connector and
body ground.

Check harness and connector between ECU and ignitor.

Replace ECU.
