Check and repair harness and connector
between ECU and EFI main relay.

Resistance: 5.1 – 6.3

at 20

C (68

Check main oxygen sensor heater.

Replace ECU.

Measure voltage between terminal IGF of ignitor
connector and body ground.

Disconnect ECU connector and check voltage between terminal
HT of ECU connector and body ground.

(1) Turn ignition switch LOCK.
(2) Connect ECU connector.
(3) Warm up engine at normal operating tempera-

ture.

Measure voltage between terminal HT of ECU con-
nector and body ground, when engine is idling and
racing at 4000 rpm.

Replace main oxygen sensor.

Measure resistance between terB and HT of
main oxygen sensor connector.

Disconnect main oxygen sensor connector.

Measure voltage between terminal HT of ECU con-
nector and body ground.

(1) Connect main oxygen sensor connector.
(2) Disconnect ECU connector.
(3) Turn ignition switch ON.

Voltage: Battery voltage

Check voltage between terminal HT of ECU connector and
body ground.

In the above check, continue racing engine at 4000
rpm for approx. 20 seconds or more.

Replace main oxygen sensor.
