In addition to the General Error Messages, the following messages may appear when entering packet related
commands.

Appears if you attempt to make a packet connection but
haven’t yet entered your callsign in

You attempted to change

while in a
connected state.

You tried to set
CONPERM
while disconnected.
LINK OUT OF ORDER, possible data loss
You’re

ed to another packet station but the link
has failed.

You typed more than one callsign for the
CONNECT

UNPROTO
commands without the
VIA
keyword.
?channel must be 0-9
You typed an invalid channel character after the
CHSWITCH
character.
