JTAG FPGA Programming over USB-Blaster

The USB-blaster is implemented on the DE4 board to provide JTAG configuration through onboard

USB-to-JTAG configuration logic using a type-B USB connector, a FTDI USB 2.0 Controller, and

an Altera MAX II CPLD. Current configuration will be lost when the power is turned off.
