1. Adjust Dynamic Centering (R3401 and R3407).
a. Rotate the READOUT INTENSITY control from
midrange to fully CW and note any horizontal and vertical
shift that occurs in the readout characters.
b. ADJUST— Horizontal Dynamic Centering (R3401) to
minimize the horizontal component of the shift.
c. ADJUST—Vertical Dynamic Centering (R3407) to
minimize the vertical component of the shift.
d. Repeat steps a through c as necessary to minimize
readout shift until no further improvement is noted.
