TROUBLE
PROBABLE CAUSE
SOLUTION
Lift lowers too slowly.
Lift flow control valve is
out of adjustment.
Adjust the flow
control by following
the instructions in
Section 2-3.
Mechanical problem.
See structural
and mechanical
troubleshooting above.
Hand pump fails to
raise stabilizers.
Leaks in hydraulic lines
or fittings.
Find and repair leaks.
Hydraulic reservoir low
or empty of fluid.
Fill to proper level
with specified fluid.
Defective hand pump.
Repair or replace.
Defective check valve in
hand pump line.
Repair or replace
check valve.
Rear lift gate does not
function.
Electrical problem.
See electrical
troubleshooting.
Lift gate override knob
pushed in.
Reset override knob.
