1.2 SYMBOL DEFINITIONS
The following symbols appear on the SYSTEM 1E
™
Liquid Chemical Sterilant Processing System.
Water spills on the microcomputer housing and/or the printer or printer paper may result in damage to
the SYSTEM 1E Processor or create a paper jam.
Do not remove MaxPure filter from plastic bag until fully installed.
To avoid damage to the SYSTEM 1E Liquid Chemical Sterilant Processing System prior to boxing for
shipment. Follow procedure 1.6.3, B
to aid in the process.
Do not place hard or rigid suctioning devices into the probes. Damage to thermocouples or
concentration probes could occur.
Only use STERIS Corporation approved UV lamps and Quartz sleeves.
Always use cotton gloves when handling quartz sleeve. Do not touch quartz sleeve with bare hands.
Skin oils from bare hands can cause possible damage to quartz sleeve.
