Troubleshooting
The error messages provided by the diagnostic test are explained below
with tips provided for corrective action:

Plug the WiFi interface into the charger and
restart the test.

Check that your wireless network is listed as
available in the "WiFi Configuration Utility".
"Validate IP Address"

have a valid IP address"
Ensure that you have assigned the correct IP ad-
dress for the network currently configured.
"WiFi Interface Net-
work Ping"
"Unable to ping remote WiFi Inter-
face"
Check that the PC and the WiFi interface are lo-
cated within the same network.
"WiFi Monitor Network
Discovery"
"Unable to discover WiFi Interface
messages"
The UPnP ports UDP 1900 and 7900 and the
UDP port 55005 should not be blocked by Fire-
walls or routers in your network.
The MarconiService may not be blocked by the
Firewall, see "Check Firewall Settings" [→ 34].

The TCP ports 55000 and 55001 should not be
blocked by Firewalls or routers in your network.
The WiFi interface can generally still be paired
even if the test fails.
