Connect the charger

The WiFi interface storage battery is charged using the charger.

The charger can also be used to connect the WiFi interface to a PC via
USB. This is only necessary on initial installation and for WiFi interface
configuration and updates. A driver is automatically installed when the
charger is connected to a PC for the first time.

Connecting the power supply unit

NOTICE

Please only use the power supply unit supplied with REF 6404425 for
the external power supply for the charger. Ensure that the power
supply unit and the plug contacts are suitable for use in your country.

1.

Connect the power supply unit to the charger.

2.

Plug the power supply unit into a socket.

Ä

The operating LED (A) is lit on the charger.

Establishing the USB connection

1.

Open the flap on the charger.

2.

Connect the USB port for the charger with the one for the PC. Use
the special USB cable supplied with the delivery for this.

Ä

The USB LED (B) is lit on the charger.

Ä

The charger drivers install automatically on the PC. After this
the message "New hardware was installed and can now be
used" appears.

Do not disconnect the USB connection between the charger and PC
just yet. It is required for additional configuration steps.
