5.1
Switch WiFi interface on/off

The WiFi interface is set up according to the instructions in the
"Installation" chapter.
1.
Remove the WiFi interface from the charger.
2.
Plug the sensor cable into the WiFi interface.

If the WiFi interface is switched off (LED is not flashing), press the
switch on the WiFi interface and wait until the startup sequence has
completed. This can take up to 15 seconds. Once this has occurred
the LED lights up a purple color initially and then starts to flash. The
color depends on the charge state for the storage battery. The
flashing frequency shows the connection status of the WiFi
interface. See "Determine device status" [→ 66].

If you use multiple WiFi interfaces in your practice: Ensure that the
WiFi interface to be used is paired with the desired PC, see "Pair
WiFi interface with the PC" [→ 48].
Keep the switch pressed down for 6 seconds to switch the USB module
off. This cancels the pairing with the PC.
Please remove the holder or the patient clip when the WiFi system is
not being used and place the WiFi interface in the charger so that it can
charge and be ready for the next examination. In the case of pairing
using the RFID technology, it also retains pairing with the PC.
If the WiFi interface is not replugged into the charger, it times out
automatically after a specific time, see "Set WiFi interface" [→ 62].
