Enabling exposure readiness
The WiFi-Interface must be paired with the PC for creating exposure
readiness. For details on registration in SIDEXIS XG / SIDEXIS 4 and
pairing, please refer to the sections "Register WiFi interface in
SIDEXIS" [→ 47] and "Pair WiFi interface with the PC" [→ 48].

The WiFi interface and the sensor are set up according to the
instructions in the "Installation" [→ 32] chapter.

The WiFi interface is set and sufficiently charged (LED lights up
yellow or green).
1.
Connect a sensor to the WiFi interface.
2.
Register the patient in SIDEXIS XG / SIDEXIS 4. Detailed
information can be found in the SIDEXIS XG / SIDEXIS 4 operator's
manual.
3.
Establish exposure readiness for intraoral exposures. Click on the
"[I]ntraoral X-ray" button.

The
"Set tooth or program before exposure" window opens. The
intraoral exposure is selected as the image type.
4.
Click on the tooth for which the intraoral exposure is being
produced. Information on the tooth displays can be found in the
SIDEXIS XG / SIDEXIS 4 operator's manual. Confirm your selection
with the
"OK" button.

If multiple intraoral X-ray systems are registered in SIDEXIS
XG / SIDEXIS 4 then the
"Select X-ray device" window appears
to pair the PC with a WiFi interface.
