Enabling the WiFi interface in SiXABCon
Only when using the SIDEXIS plug-in for XIOS XG without RFID
technology:
X-ray images of WiFi interfaces can be transmitted only to PCs that are
enabled for the relevant SIDEXIS XG / SIDEXIS 4 workstation as X-ray
components. Release occurs in the configuration program of
SiXABCon.
IMPORTANT
When using the Sidexis 4 Sensor Plugin and when using the SIDEXIS
plug-in for XIOS XG with RFID technology:
In these cases, no release is required in SiXABCon. The XIOS XG
entry does not appear in SiXABCon either.

The SIDEXIS plug-in for the XIOS XG WiFi system is installed on
the PC.
ü
The PC is connected with the wireless practice network.
ü
The WiFi interface is configured and turned on for the wireless
practice network.

Start the SiXABCon configuration program via the
"SIDEXIS
Manager".

Select the
"Local approvals" tab.
Ä
The WiFi interfaces connected to the wireless network are
displayed with their serial number in the list.
The serial number appears on the housing of each WiFi
interface.
Ä
The check box is activated for enabled WiFi interfaces. A
yellow-red icon indicates WiFi interfaces that are not enabled.
3.
Activate the check box for WiFi interfaces that are to transmit X-ray
images to this PC.
