Checking of the communication between PLC and SIMOTION

The SIMOCRANE CeCOMM diagnostic program has various display screens in which 

communication functions can be checked. The "PLC-Interface" display screen is called up from 

the main menu or from another display screen using the "2" key for this purpose.

The current input and output data of the sway control system are shown on this display screen. 

The data must first be checked for correctness.

Note
Note about the set position (reference position; see figure above) 
If parameter P102=1 (selection STS), the following exception applies:

If S_SET=0, the target position from the target generator is displayed.
External and internal targets are displayed in different ways in SIMOCRANE CeCOMM, see 

Chapter Selecting external and internal targets (Page 342).

The "Status of the drives [3]" display screen is called with the "3" key (see screenshot below). 

The command and status bits are displayed here. They should also be checked for correct 

assignment before the next commissioning step is taken. The color differences in the display 

of the actual values show which values or states are OK or active (green).

Red display indicates an error or stop in the system, "Not released," "Stop," "Off," etc.
