18) Timeout steam supply
The level in the steam boiler detected
by the level monitoring is too low. This
causes boiler filling to begin. Filling
was not detected by the level sensor
after 60 sec. The filling process is
stopped and the error message ap-
pears. Dispensing of beverages with
steam is blocked.
If a level increase is not detected after steam boiler
filling is active for 60 sec., the "Timeout steam supply"
message appears.
No water supply.

Check the water supply system.
Check the following elements involved in supplying
water to the steam boiler:
•
Check the 0.6- mm restrictor diameter after the
steam valve (067‘185) to ensure that it is not
blocked.
•
Check the water supply line in the steam boiler for
limescale.
•
Check the steam valve to ensure it is working
properly.
Faulty level sensor.

Check the level sensor for limescale deposits.
Check the electrical connections of the sensor.
Missing or poor earth connection.
►
Check the connection and reconnect it if neces-
sary.
19) Steam temperature too low The sensor for temperature monitoring
at the steam boiler detects a lower tem-
perature than 115°C.
Dispensing of the beverage is stopped
to prevent milk from entering the steam
system.
The standard setting of the steam temperature is
135°C.
The steam temperature setting is too
low.

Adjust the steam temperature in the parameter.
The set minimum temperature must not be less
than 120°C.
See "Service technician menu" - "Configuration" -
"General parameters" for additional information on
the "3 Temperature steam" parameter.
The temperature sensor (NTC) is
faulty.
►
Check the electrical connections between the
sensor and main board.
►
Measure the resistance of the NTC sensor.
The following resistances must be measured at the
sensors at the corresponding temperatures:
•
25°C = 10,000 ohm
•
90°C = 910 Ohm
•
100°C = 678 ohm
►
If the measured value does not correspond to the
values specified here, the sensor must be re-
placed.
The heating is faulty.

Measure the heating resistance and replace the
heating if faulty.

"Mandatory"
The grounds container is almost full.
Five coffee beverages can still be dis-
pensed before the machine is blocked.
The grounds container must be removed for at least 4
seconds for the message to be reset. sec

and the machine is blocked. Message
appears for "mandatory emptying".
