10) Enable steam flush
Steam flushing during cleaning.
It is recommended that you activate flushing
of the steam boiler.

Select the "Daily" setting.
The steam boiler is flushed during a
cleaning procedure.
During cleaning, the boiler flushing
water runs out of the steam wand or
out of the steam nozzle of the fresh
milk system in the beverage outlet.
If an additional rinsing valve is pres-
ent, the steam flushing water drains
into the drip tray.
Purpose of the procedure:

To flush out water saturated with miner-
als.
•
To prevent excessive deposits of lime
scale.

The standard setting is
"OFF".
Parameter settings with
"OFF" can cause contami-
nation (coffee particles) in
the booster.
Note the description of the
"11 internal steam flush"
system parameter.
11) Steam flush day
Activates flushing of the steam boiler on a
specific weekday.

Select the required weekday in the selec-
tion menu.
The steam boiler is flushed on the set
day during cleaning.

The "9 Enable steam
flush" system parameter is
set to "Weekly" in the se-
lection.
12) Internal steam flush
Controls the drainage during flushing of the
steam boiler.
"Internal steam flush" is "OFF":
During cleaning, the boiler flushing water
runs out of the steam wand or out of the
steam nozzle of the fresh milk system in the
beverage outlet.
"Internal steam flush" is "ON":
An additional rinsing valve must be installed.
The boiler flushing water automatically flows
into the drip tray.
During cleaning, there is no message re-
questing you to place a container under the
steam wand.

"Fine steam or "Su-
per&Fine steam" no longer
appears in the steam out-
let selection list if this pa-
rameter is activated.
The "10 Steam flush day"
system parameter must be
activated to be able to
flush the steam boiler.
