17) Milk level sensor
Switches the milk level sensor on and off:
Two sensor types are available for milk level
detection. The standard sensor is the capaci-
tive sensor. The ultrasound sensor is optio-
nal.
"Ultrasound" milk sensor (option):
The sensor is used in an under-counter milk
system. The adjusting screw (A) with the
LED (B) are accessible from the outside.
Set the "Ultrasound" milk sensor:

Switch on the "16 Milk level sensor" pa-
rameter.
The "19 Milk level detection" parame-
ter is now available under the "Gener-
al Parameters".

Fill the milk container with milk or water to
the desired "Milk empty level".
►
Turn the adjusting screw (A) using a
screwdriver until the LED (B) lights up
green.
The milk level is set.
Capacitive milk sensor:
The sensor is located on the right side of the
cooling unit and is accessible after removal
of the metal cover (C) and the additional
foam insulation. The sensor does not have
an electronic setting.
To set the "Ultrasound" milk sensor manual-
ly:

Switch on the "16 Milk level sensor" pa-
rameter.
The "19 Milk level detection" parame-
ter is now available under the "Gener-
al Parameters".

Fill the milk container with milk or water to
the desired "Milk empty level".
►
The sensor can be mechanically adjust-
ed up or down (±10 mm).
The milk level is set.
The "19 Milk level detection" parameter must
be set to "Intelligent mode".

18) Cup sensor
Monitoring of the presence of cups:
Whether or not the machine has a cup sen-
sor can be determined on the left below the
beverage outlet.

Switch on the "cup sensor".
The "21 Cup detection" parameter is
now available in the "General Param-
eters" menu.
On/off
The standard setting is
"OFF".
If a cup is not detected un-
der the outlet, a beverage
cannot be dispensed.
