Exiting the application
Hex load update
The "Hex load" function loads the machine software. As of version V5.31, the machine control
software and the TouchIT software are contained in a single package.
►
Switch on the machine using the
field.
►
Insert the SERVICE card and enter the PIN.
►
Select the "System" menu.
►
Select the "Exit application" submenu.
The "Remove card" message appears.
Option 1: Update from the USB stick

If the update of the machine software is to be loaded from the USB stick, insert the USB
stick under the TouchIT now.
Option 2: Update from the TouchIT
►
Remove the SERVICE card again.
The TouchIT switches to the "Bootloader TouchIT" mode.

Select the [Hex load (Update SCA Software)] (A) field.
The touch screen display changes to the "Hex load (Update SCA Software download-
er)" mode.

Select the "Open HexFile" (B) field. To cancel the procedure, use the [Exit] field to return
to the "BootloaderTouchIT" mode.
The machine software can be loaded from the USB port or from the TouchIT.
