Troubleshooting
22) Grounds container missing The grounds container is missing.

Insert the grounds container.
The grounds container is present but is
still not detected.
►
Check the magnet at the rear right of the grounds
container.
►
Check the function and position of the monitoring
sensor (directly behind the water pump) of the
grounds container.
23) Grinder left no beans
24) Grinder right no beans
The current consumption is below the
preset value. The grinder is identified
as "empty" and the message appears.
See "Service technician menu" - "System" - "Test /
calibration" in the "Calibrate grinders" menu for fur-
ther information.
The bean hopper is empty.

Fill the bean hopper.
The message appears frequently al-
though enough beans are still in the
hopper.

Reduce the value set in the grinder calibration pa-
rameter slightly.
25) Clean machine
A cleaning request ("Mandatory" set-
ting) is set in the "Date / Time / Alarm"
menu. The message appears in ac-
cordance with the settings.
Beverages can still be dispensed.

"Date / Time / Alarm" in the "3 Cleaning request" pa-
rameter for further information.

Clean if necessary.
A cleaning request ("Message only"
setting) is set in the "Date / Time /
Alarm" menu.
Beverages can still be dispensed.

Confirm the message and clean if necessary.
26) Cleaning
A cleaning request ("Message/manda-
tory" setting) is set in the "Date / Time /
Alarm" menu. The message appears
1 h after the first cleaning message
"Clean machine" appears.
Beverages can no longer be dis-
pensed.

27) Error during cleaning
The drinking water tank is empty.

Fill the drinking water tank in machines with an ex-
ternal drinking water tank.
The waste water tank is full.

Empty the waste water tank in machines with an
external waste water tank.
Heating steam.
►
The steam temperature is too low. Wait for the
steam temperature to heat up.
