Jam in output
A cut is automatically carried out
in the case of a jam in the
output or deflec
-tion region to the upper output grid and all papers
will be transported back into their roll drawers. The paper will be
automatically transported off after status acknowledgement through
the online button [Fig. 546]. Open the rear output flap if this is not
possible- Swivel up the flap and pull out the paper backward.
Caution: Depending on medium, the fusing temperature may be in the
range of 150 – 185 °C in the rear output region. Please be extremely
careful when removing a paper jam in this region. Let the device cool at
least 15 minutes with its rear cover open before you start eliminating the
jam.
Procedure at non-automatic paper clearance:
1. Press the "Offline" button for setting the ROWE RS/RCS 4000 +
6000 network printer to offline mode [Fig. 181].
