Remove the right Side Panel (Section 7.4.3).

Open the cabinet door.

For TLS models 4440 and 4480 only, follow the procedure in Section 7.9 to re-
move the I/O port assembly.

Use a number 2 Phillips screwdriver to remove all three mounting screws from
the Upper Carousel Pivot Support (Figure 7-36), then lift the Upper Carousel
Pivot Support up out of the TLS (Figure 7-37).

CAUTION
Be careful not to damage the Carousel Position Sensor with the Carousel Gear
Guard when you remove the Carousel (Figure 7-35).

For TLS models 4440 and 4480, lift the Carousel up until the Lower Carousel
Bearing clears the TLS Midplate, then move the Carousel about three inches to-
ward the right side of the cabinet, to gain access to the Carousel Motor’s mount-
ing screws (Figure 7-37).
b)
For TLS models 4660 and 46120, lift the Carousel up until the Lower Carou-
sel Bearing clears the TLS Midplate, then move the Carousel about four inches
forward, then about one inch toward the left side of the cabinet, to gain access to
the Carousel Motor’s mounting screws (Figure 7-37).
