Performing an Analysis (continued)
To Export the results as a .xlsx file or a .package file, touch the Export button. Use the checkboxes on the
‘Export Analysis’ screen to select whether the file should be exported as an
Excel
file, a
GloMax
package file
or both. The format and content of the export files are described in the Analysis Export File section below.
Exported analysis files will be saved in the in export folder path specified by the administrator. Excel
®
files
will be saved in a subfolder called \Analysis\Reports while exported .package files will be saved in a subfolder
called \Analysis.

Analysis Export File
Results from any analysis can be exported as a .xlsx file by opening the desired analysis from the ‘Analyses’ screen
and touching the
Export
button on the ‘Analysis’ screen. Prior to export, the user needs to touch the
Run
button
to enable the
Export
button. The exported Excel
®
report will have multiple tabs of data, which are described
below:
Protocol Details tab
The Protocol Details tab indicates information regarding the analysis that was performed including the name of
the analysis, user who performed the analysis, time at which the analysis was performed, instrument and software
used to generate the analysis and parameters for the analysis.
Data Summary tab
The Data Summary tab contains a summary of the analyzed data. The names of each replicate set in the experimental
data set are presented with the concentration/dilution factor specified, units, averages and standard deviations of the
data, and interpolated concentration (if applicable). In addition, this tab also shows the statistics for the curve fit
from the data.
Results tab
The Results tab presents several tables of data generated from the analysis. These include the raw data used for
analysis (with included and excluded wells specified), well names, concentrations/dilution factors for each well,
naming of each well, blank subtracted values for each well and interpolated data for each well (if applicable)
Chart tab
The Chart tab shows the graph of the data that has been analyzed as well as the curve fit parameters for that data.
Use standard Excel
®
functions to adjust the appearance of the graphed data.
