Wait Function
Use the
Wait
function to pause or incubate before taking a measurement. After selecting the duration time
window, a keypad will appear in which you can enter the time in hh:mm:ss format. Enter between 1 second and 72
hours in increments of 1 second.

Heat Function
Heat the plate by using the
Heat
function. To prewarm the heater prior to the measurement read, select
Heat
from the
Tools
icon of the menu bar, and select
Wait
in the Heating step. If
Wait
is selected in the protocol, the
measurement read will begin only when the temperature has reached the set point. If
Wait
is not selected, the
protocol will proceed whether or not the heater has reached the set point.
Enter the desired temperature, in degrees Celsius, and between 25 and 45°C. The heater will maintain tempera-
ture within 1°C of the set point.
Note:
The instrument is fan cooled, so the temperature cannot be set lower than the ambient temperature of your
laboratory.
