A window will open asking you to choose a file name and location to save the file. Click OK when ready.
See OIT or SCADA documentation for information on how to import that data.
Good Control Strategy
Development of good control strategy starts with a well-conceived plan. These few steps will help the user to
configure the PCC-IV in a timely manner:
•
Define the user’s requirements
•
Check the system Input/output (I/O) count
•
Break the configuration down into manageable sections
•
Drag the blocks needed for each section to the canvas
•
Assign block numbers and “Softwire” the Block Inputs
•
Modify Parameters as required
•
Add tags necessary for setting up the Panel Data Screen and/or OIT communication
•
Configure the front panel displays and alarms
•
Test the configuration
•
Place controller into operation
The remainder of this Section will be a detailed example of how to enhance a simple Boiler Master Blockware
Control Strategy by adding features in small manageable sections.
