Leak Tests (Test 2)
Leak tests include:
•
High pressure leak test
: verifies that there are no leaks on the high-
pressure (oxygen) side of the GDS.
•
System leak test
: verifies that there are no leaks on the low pressure
side of the GDS, or connections between the rubber boots, blower
patient outlet, and internal tubing.
Figure 8-11 shows the test configuration for the leak tests.
