Clearing the Error and Device Logs
•
There should be no errors on the device after repairs are made. If there are any errors logged on
the device that do not affect device functionality, the error(s) must be cleared. Refer to section
6.3 for a list of error codes, descriptions and corrective actions.
•
The device log cannot be read, however the device log should be cleared on the device as part
of routine servicing.
Clearing Therapy Hours and Blower Hours
•
If the PCA is NOT replaced during device servicing, the therapy hours should only be cleared if
the device is going to a different patient. Otherwise, the therapy hours should remain on the de-
vice.
•
If the PCA is NOT replaced during device servicing, the blower hours should be cleared only if
the Blower is replaced. Otherwise, the blower hours should remain on the device.
Setting the Session ID
NOTE
The Session ID should be set on the device when the Therapy PCA is
replaced. If the Therapy PCA is not replaced on the device, the Session ID
should not be set.
1. Connect the device to your PC and launch the Service Center Tools Suite.
2. Select QPAP SET SESSIONS ID, then click on the EXECUTE TOOL button.
3.
Enter the date manufactured of the PAP device in the DATE MANUFACTURED box, then select the
SET SESSION ID button.
NOTE
The Manufactured Date is located on the device’s serial/model
number label in format YYYY-MM-DD. When entering the date into
the software application, do not include the dashes (-).
