Replacing the Blower Upper Cap 

Kit

Blower Upper Cap

recommended)

Flathead Screwdriver

 

 

To remove the Blower Upper Cap: 

1.  Remove all components as instructed in the previous sections 

2.  Remove the four # 4 x 1/2” screws holding the Blower Cap to the Blower Box Assembly. 

3.

 

Using a small flathead screwdriver, carefully pry the Blower Cap off of the Blower Box Assembly 
around the Blower Cap chimney as to not damage the Blower Cap seal.

 

 

CAUTION 

Damage can occur to the seal on the underside of the Blower Upper Cap 
if prying in the wrong spots. Be sure to pry the Cap off only at the Chimney 
(refer to the Figure below).
