Installation Notes
1) Before setup and configuration, ensure the proper drivers are available with your
Host backup software (IE: Veritas, Legato, Computer Associates).
2) If you are using Windows 2000 NATIVE utility, the driver is located on the

Tabletop Placement & Setup
1) Place the LoaderXpress on a stable horizontal surface with at least a 2-inch
clearance behind the chassis to allow for cable installation and sufficient cooling
air to flow freely from the cooling fan. See
Figure 2–2 .
Connect power cord after all other connections are made.
2) Proceed to the “Host Computer Connection” section.
