If an error message displays that is not included in this table, write down the fault code
number and follow the recovery procedure described on line 4 of the display. If the same
error occurs again, call your Technical Support Representative.
Using the Demo Submenu
CAUTION:
Caution: Do Not Run this library robotics excercise with cleaning cartridges in any of the
slots, including the reserved slots. Remove all cleaning cartridges from the magazine before starting
this excercise.
This option allows you to fully exercise the library robotics.
1) From the Maintenance Menu, select the Demo Submenu.
2) Select Demo 1.
The library robotics begin to move cartridges randomly from slot to slot, displaying the
number of passes on the screen.
If all slots in the magazine are full, Demo 1 loads a cartridge into the SDLT drive and
leaves it there. If you press the
button while Demo 1 is running, the LibraryXpress loads
a cartridge into the SDLT drive, unless it is full. If you press the
button again, the
cartridge is unloaded from SDLT drive and returned to the magazine.
Demo 1 runs continuously as long as the LibraryXpress has power.
