Adjusting Setting Distances
Set a reference sample with a known thickness (T).
Adjust the Sensor Heads so that the distances between the reference sample and the
Sensor Heads (A and B) are each about half the measurement distance. Refer to the
Amplifier Unit display when adjusting the Sensor Heads.

Preventing Mutual Interference
Mutual interference prevention settings are required when the distance between Sen-
sor Heads is less than the mutual interference distance.
These settings are not required if the Sensor Heads are further apart than the mutual
interference distance.
For information on mutual interference distance, refer to

, p. 32.
The settings are made on the CH1 Amplifier Unit. Refer to
Section 6 Auxiliary Func-
tions
for details on settings.
