Setting Reading Conditions
Light Control
When a Camera with an Intelligent Lighting is connected, the light level can be adjusted from the
V530-R160. Change the settings in the
SYS/Camera/Monitor
settings menu in advance to indi-
cate that a Camera with an Intelligent Lighting is being used.
Refer to page 181 (Sec. 7).
If the shutter speed is 1/10000s, adjustment up to light level 2 is possible.
The Intelligent Lighting is pulsed in synchronization with the shutter trigger, and the light level can be
adjusted by changing the width of this pulse.
If the light level is set to the maximum of 7, the light ON pulse width is approximately 450
μ
s, and
this more or less corresponds to the shutter period when the shutter speed is 1/2000s. Therefore, if
the shutter speed is 1/10000s, and the light level is set to 2 or higher, the setting may be ineffective
(the brightness may not change).
