Communication with the Host
The asterisk (*) indicates the default setting.
Set Items and their details
Item
Selection
Read area
Select the relay where the controller checks commands.
I/O*, HR (holding relay), LR (link relay), DM (data memory), None (No
reading. TXD instruction will be accepted.)
Begin read word
Set the first word to read in area specified above.
(0 to 9995; default setting: 0)
Write area
Select the relay where the controller outputs execution results.
I/O*, HR (holding relay), LR (link relay), DM (data memory), None (No
writing)
Begin write word
Set the first word to write in the area specified.
(0 to 9996; default setting: 100)
PLC mode check
ON*
On entering the
MON
mode or
RUN
mode, the mode of the pro-
grammable controller is checked. Reading does not start unless
the programmable controller is in
MON
mode.
(Error messages are displayed.)
OFF
When the V530-R160 is in
MON
or
RUN
mode, it sends a mode
change command to the Programmable Controller to forcibly
switch the Programmable Controller to
MON
mode.
