ADJUSTING PROCESSING PARAMETERS
Attenuation
Sets the maximum amount of attenuation automatically applied to detected sibilants.
Q Factor
Adjusts the “width” of the notch created around the detected frequency.
3-Band Noise Gate (Basic Controls)
A unique feature among microphone processors, the VOCO 8 features a 3-band noise gate. This can help to gate
noises in specific bands (such as noise generated by doors or countertops) while still passing actual speech.
Available parameters are Threshold, Target, Hold, and Release time.
Note:
Unlike traditional gates, which can cut off the first syllable of speech, the attack time on the VOCO 8
gate is virtually instantaneous and is not adjustable.
Metering
Displays the input level to the gate for each band.
