“ADMIN” ACCOUNT
Packet Length
Adjusts the AoIP packet length in samples. A shorter length results in lower latency with higher bandwidth
overhead. Longer lengths have more latency but a lower bandwidth overhead.
L/AES67 Audio QoS
Adjusts the 802.1p Quality of Service (QoS) parameters of various AoIP formats, also configures 802.1Q VLAN
tagging for AoIP. Separate QoS settings are provided for each supported type of AoIP stream (including PTP/IEEE
1588 clocking).
Note:
Do not change these settings unless you have a specific application that requires them to be
modified. The defaults are generally sufficient for most installations. Improper configuration of
these parameters can cause audio glitches and other network issues. A full description of these QoS
functions is beyond the scope of this manual.
