Terms of use

When using packet communication via Xi/
FOMA, set the access point for Mobile
network to sp

(sp-mode) or mopera.

For using packet communication via Xi/
FOMA, communication charge is not applied
for downloading.

To execute the software update overseas, Wi-
Fi connection without docomo nano UIM
card insertion is required.

When the software is modified, update is not
available.

Software update can be done with data saved
to the terminal; note that data may not be
always safe depending on the conditions of
your terminal (such as malfunction, damage,
or water leak). DOCOMO recommends
backing up necessary data in advance.
Availability of data backup for each
application varies by application. For
procedure of data backup for each
application, contact the developer of
application.
Starting the update
To start updating, perform the either
operation in the following.

From the update notification
From the status bar of the terminal, tap the
notification of "Started distributing software
update" or "Software update start verification"
and then start updating.
･
From the pop-up notice prompting an
update
From the pop-up message of "An update is
available" appeared periodically when a
certain period of time has passed after the
update notification, tap [OK] and start
updating.

From the Settings menu
From the Home screen, tap [apps folder]

[Software Update] to start updating.
If software update is not needed, "No update
required. Use your device as it is." appears.
