Gear I is used to cool the heated object, dry the paint or cool the device
after long work with high temperature before putting it away or replacing
the auxiliary nozzle.
When changing from position II to I, wait a while for the device to cool
down.
The distance between the nozzle and the workpiece should be adjusted
depending on the type of material to be processed and the type of
additional nozzle used. The most appropriate temperature has to be
determined by trial, therefore start working in the low temperature range.
Shaping of plastic pipes / defrosting
•
Place the reflector nozzle on the outlet nozzle. To avoid narrowing
the pipe, fill it with sand and close it on both sides.
•
The pipe should be heated evenly by moving it in relation to the heat
gun.
•
Always heat frozen areas of water pipes from edge to center. Heat
plastic pipes and the joints between pipe pieces with particular care
to avoid damage.
Warning! The gas pipes must not be heated under any circumstances!
Removing paint
•
Switch on the heat gun and set the correct operating temperature.
•
Direct a stream of hot air onto a painted surface. After a short time,
the paint will begin to blister. The paint must not be burnt, as it will
make its removal difficult.
•
When removing the paint with a scraper or spatula, this operation
should be performed with movements from top to bottom, gradually.
If the putty knife touches an area where the paint cannot be
removed, carefully approach the heat gun to facilitate further paint
removal. Occasionally clean the blade of the spatula.
•
Remove paint before it hardens, otherwise it will stick to the spatula
blade.
•
After finishing work, the remnants of the paint should be quickly
removed from the spatula with a wire brush before it solidifies.
Warning! Spatulas made of plastic must not be used to remove heated
paint with a heat gun.
The heat gun nozzle is hot right after finishing work. Avoid direct contact
and use suitable protective gloves or wait for it to cool down.

ДОПОЛНИТЕЛЬНЫЕ ПРАВИЛА БЕЗОПАСНОСТИ

При использовании теплового пистолета надевайте защитные
очки.
•
Запрещается прикрывать входное отверстие для воздуха, и
отверстие выходного сопла теплового пистолета.
•
Не прикасайтесь к соплу теплового пистолета, пока он
используется или сразу после прекращения работы теплового
пистолета.
•
Ручка теплового пистолета должна содержаться в чистоте, на
ней не должно быть следов масла или жира.
•
При работе на открытом воздухе не используйте тепловой
пистолет во время дождя или когда воздух очень влажный.
•
Не откладывайте тепловой пистолет на бок, когда он включен.
•
Не направляйте воздушный поток из теплового пистолета
слишком долго в одно место.
