VACUTAP® VR®

Remove the blocking strip from the tap selector coupling. Once the
blocking strip is removed, the tap selector coupling must no longer be
turned.

Figure 107: Blocking strip

CAUTION!

Place the oil compartment on a level surface and secure

it against tipping. An unstably positioned oil compartment may tip over,
resulting in serious injuries and damage.

Lift the oil compartment by hooking up the on-load tap-changer head
and remove the blocking device on the coupling of the oil compartment
base.
