External Mandown Switch
The External Mandown Switch is used with HT 1000 radios only. Use the
UP/DOWN arrows to enable/disable this feature. When this feature is
enabled, the radio will send an alarm (including the radio ID)
whenever the radio is angled more than 60 degrees from its usual
vertical position.

This operation is only possible when the radio is equipped with
an External Mandown Switch accessory. Emergency must be enabled
for this feature to work.
The default is Enabled.
Note that there is no functional programmability associated with the side
buttons in HT 1000 “A” models. Side Button 1 is the Select button, used
for Nuisance Delete and Scan Programming. Side Button 2 is used only
for the MDC Repeater Access (RAT) function. Side Button 3 is always
the Monitor button.
Note:
If an Advantage™ Board is installed in the radio and Side
Button 2 is functionally used by the Advantage Board, that button
must be set to “Blank” to prevent dual usage.
Open Squelch
The radio will be continuously unmuted
PL Defeat
