Seal
Test
The
Seal
Test
controls
are
located
in
the
top
section
of
the
V
‐
Clamp
tab.
In
V
‐
Clamp
mode
only,
Seal
Test
generates
test
pulses
to
be
used
during
seal
formation,
or
any
other
time
you
need
a
regular
input
pulse
in
order
to
monitor
some
parameter
in
your
experimental
setup.
You
can
choose
potentials
from
0
to
±1000
mV.
Discrete
frequency
settings
between
2
and
5000
Hz
are
available.
View
the
options
by
right
‐
clicking
on
the
frequency
field.
How
To
Use
Seal
Test
Set
the
Seal
Test
amplitude
and
frequency
fields
to
the
desired
values.
Start
the
Seal
Test
pulse
by
checking
the
checkbox.
Pulse
parameters
can
be
changed
after
Seal
Test
has
commenced.
Uncheck
the
checkbox
to
stop
Seal
Test.
