Loopback function
Only the station where an error occurs is
disconnected, and data link continues with the
stations that are operating normally.
All stations after the faulty station are
disconnected in line topology.
By using the loopback function with ring
topology, data link continues with the stations
that are operating normally.
Submaster function
Connecting the master station and submaster
station on the same network allows the
submaster station to continue controlling slave
stations instead of the master station even if the
master station is disconnected. Using this
function prevents the entire network from going
down due to disconnection of the master station.
