Consists of DRAM, and is capable of storing about one A4 page of copy data.

Compression Circuitry

Inputs the binarized data from the Image Memory block, one line at a time, and
further compresses it.

Use of this compression step makes it possible for the next block (Encoded Mem-
ory block) to hold data.
