Rotation of Suction Fan Motor results in the paper separated from the PC Drum

being drawn onto the turning Suction Belts. As a result, the paper is smoothly car-
ried to the Fusing Unit.

●

The Suction Belts are turned by the Suction Belt Drive Roller which is driven by PC

Drum Drive Motor.

●

Four rubber belts are used as the Suction Belts. There are small holes in each belt

to enhance the drawing power of the Suction Fan Motor. Further, each belt has a
rough surface which prevents slippage during paper transport.
