2) Removal of the CCD Unit

1. Open the Electronic Document Hander.
2. Remove the Control Panel.
3. Remove the Original Glass.
4. Slide the Scanner all the way to the left.

7. Unplug three connectors from PWB-IB.
8. Remove one screw, three ground wire mounting screws, and the CCD Unit.

5. Loosen three screws indicated by the arrow.
6. Remove six screws and the board cover.

1) When removing the CCD Unit, remove only the three screws specified. (That is, remove the CCD

Unit as one unit.)

2) After the CCD Unit has been reinstalled, perform Scale (CD), Zoom (CD), Position (CD) and S-

ADF Mode (CD). In addition to these adjustments, perform Address Adjust and Orig. Size Adjust
also, if the CCD Unit has been replaced with a new one.
