8. Engine Oil Pressure and Torque Gauge
Pressure Line Replacement
(Ref. Figure 404)
A. Engine Oil Pressure Gauge and Torque
Pressure Line Removal
(1). Forward Tube Section (Nylon):
(a). Check that all electrical power is
OFF.
(b). (Slim-Line instrument panels and
L/H command T-Panels only)
Remove left instrument panel fairing.
(c). Disconnect pressure line from fitting
on gauge (Ref. view C).
(d). Remove nylon pressure line by
releasing three nylon straps along
center canopy frame (Ref. view D). If
center tube section (aluminum alloy
or corrosion-resistant steel) is
installed, disconnect pressure line
nut at upper frame of canted Sta.
78.50 (Ref. view F).
(e). Remove left forward air intake
fairing and left aft bulkhead access
cover in cargo compartment.
(f). Remove attaching hardware that
secures line to left side of mast
support structure and left side of air
inlet (plenum) chamber (Ref. view A).
(g). If center tube section (aluminum
alloy or corrosion-resistant steel) is
installed, disconnect pressure line
nuts at bulkhead fittings.
